Girls, Glamour, Giggles at Thirty Nine

Whitstable’s regular female led comedy night has gone from strength to strength since starting in early 2024. As a result of the success of the night the regular host and organiser, West End New Old Act Finalist 2024 Jo Phaure, has moved the night to Thirty Nine from the Whitstable Social Club to accommodate more acts and more ticket holders.

The brand, Girls, Glamour, Giggles, is hosting a comedy extravaganza on 21 November 2025. We had a fantastic successful night at The Umbrella Centre in September with over 65 in attendance, but the venue has changed the way it licences and hires and is now sadly out of budget. But lovely local independent cafe Thirty Nine has stepped into the breach, allowing the venue for Friday 21 November completely free. The benefit of this is ensuring a high quality mixture of comics who will be being paid for the evening to entertain the crowd. Particular highlights include:

*

Laura Moss brings a delightful combination of charming silliness, unique perspectives and whimsical yet skilfully executed punchlines. Laura has recently appeared on Kyrah Gray’s ‘Gagging For It’, Jimmy Carr’s ‘Are You The Arsehole?’ and was a West End New Act of the Year Semi-finalist in 2025.

*

Stacey Edwards is a comedi (hun), a walking hen-do, positive vibes only! Embarrassing tales and anecdotes from a basic b*tch life. Co-Runner-Up Women’s West End New Act of the Year 2025. West End New Act Finalist 2024.

*

Scott Fishenden is a fast rising, up and coming young comic emerging from the comedy scene in Kent and London. Catch him before he hits the big time! His awkward and anxious persona is one you definitely don’t want to miss.

*

Tickets are selling fast as the regular nights build a reputation for a fun, friendly night out, supporting local comedy and with the added advantage of Thirty Nine providing a fantastic burger menu. Come along anytime from 6 pm and eat before the comedy starts at 7.30.
